My god that is amazing! The shadowing is perfect. I especially like how you've put shadows for the lettering. However, there's something about the hands that bother me. I'm not sure what though. Everything else is fantastic!

Now, this is one picture that I do have a bit to say about.

First of all, I'd like to see the sick piece of work that would tear apart an angel... Erm... I'm not talking about YOU (would never say something like that), but the thing that tore the angel apart in the picture. It would just be an interesting thing to see. Maybe a crazed werewolf, or some sort of beast... A destroyed angel can symbolize a lot of things. It can symbolize the fall of all things good, a rise of evil, the weaknesses of religion (particularly Christianity, in my own opinion) rearing its truth-telling head, and a little self-doubt, among many other things. Although, I don't know if you were going for symbolism or not.

The shading is good. It's not too pronounced, yet it's not unnoticable. The box--or whatever it is the angel is leaning against--seems alright. The style on the text compliments the situation, and the shadowing on it was a really great touch, although a bit confusing. It's good as confusing, though. When I first looked at the picture, I thought the text was directly written on the box, but after I see the shading, I'm not sure... So it's just kind of there, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I like how you did the blood. The splatters all look great and make sense. There's not too much of it all over the picture, either, so it doesn't look crowded. It draws attention to one thing and one thing only: the angel. ... And is it just me, or is the angel's right wing torn? I like it, but I can't tell. The only issue I have with the blood is that it should be just a touch redder, especially if he's bleeding at the moment. If it's older, though, it should be brown, so ignore me on that comment.

Hm... Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to state an opinion of mine I have on angels. It pertains to the picture, but will more than likely have nothing to do with your inspiration towards the picture or your views on it.

Angels are pretty, magical things. Little kids love them, adults cherish them, and there really is not a thing you can say that is bad about them... They're kind of like a pretty, sparkling, Christmas tree ornament. No one really has much contact with an ornament or an angel, but they're looked at and admired from afar. So, if you think about it, angels must be pretty lonely. No contact with anyone whatsoever. Although, when they DO have contact with someone, it has to be pretty special and amazing.

But... What if that contact that they had, which was supposed to be so amazing, so magical, and so wonderful, wasn't any of those things? What if it was really horrible and nasty? What would the angel do? The one time that it was going to experience something in its life, that was guaranteed to be the best thing ever, turned out gruesome. The one thing it existed for--contact with another being--was hurtful. Again, what would the angel do? What would be the point in going on?

The same thing could be said for a Christmas ornament. Finally, it had something to do: a child was playing with it. But, sadly, the child broke it. The most eventful thing in the ornament's life was it being damaged. What was the point of trying to be held together by glue if it was to remain scarred the rest of its life--or, worse, the same event happened again?

So, that's what I got out of the picture. Angels are pretty, like ornaments...but they're terribly weak and fragile. One wrong little move, and both die. It's a bit sad, isn't it?

... I'm so weird. :XD: At any rate, you did a great job. I think I'll add this to my favorites. Oh, and, just in case you forgot who this was while you were amidst the meaningless text, it's Yuumi-chan. ^^;
